Gahanna Animal Hospital is looking to add Veterinary Assistants and Registered Veterinary Technicians to our team of professionals. We are seeking a long-term employee with a passion for a career in veterinary medicine. Applicants must enjoy working with both people and animals.

GAH is a family-oriented hospital located in Gahanna, Ohio. We have a lot of fun together working in a fast-paced environment centered around providing the best care to our furry friends.

We have seven associate veterinarians in addition to the owners, Dr. John Worman and Dr. Paula Marrie.

The hospital offers full-service wellness care, vaccinations, internal medicine diagnostics, hospitalization, intensive care, radiology, in-hospital laboratory, mobile ultrasound, allergy testing, acupuncture, dentals, surgical procedures, long-term case management, behavioral consultations, emergencies, and boarding.

Our hospital business hours are 8 AM – 7 PM Monday – Friday and 8 AM – 1 PM on Saturdays. Shifts will vary.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in exam rooms
• Laboratory work & diagnostic testing
• Blood draws
• IV catheter placement
• Medical treatments on hospitalized and boarding patients
• Medical records keeping
• Radiology
• Surgical prep and assistance
• Dentistry

Full-time employee benefits are available after 90 days of employment and include health and dental insurance, paid uniforms, and shoes—paid vacation and 401K available after one year of service.

Pay will be based on experience and qualifications:

Veterinary Assistants: starting at $12/hour
Registered Veterinary Technicians: starting at $18/hour
